Biography

Nathan has been involved in the wild world of multimedia for 9 years. He got started in high school helping to produce the daily news program at Asheville High School. He later transferred to New River Academy and continued working with video while training as a whitewater kayaker. He became a sponsored kayaker at the age of 17, and helped to promote his kayaking sponsors by competing at kayaking races as well as gaining media exposure through online blogging and web videos. His video uploads have over 600,000 total viewings. After graduating from New River Academy, Nathan began his liberal arts studies at University of North Carolina Asheville.

In the fall of 2009, and spring of 2010, Nathan worked as a web design intern at the National Environmental Modeling and Analysis center. Here he received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his outstanding contributions to NEMAC’s undergraduate research program and his dedication to the sustainable economic, cultural, and community development of the region.

After completing his internship and graduating from University of North Carolina Asheville in May of 2010, he worked as a freelance designer for several months before moving to Fort Collins, Colorado. He enjoys problem solving and striving for the highest level of professionalism in his work. In this fast changing world of technology and communication Nathan values the opportunity to make a living as a creative professional.
